This year is flying. I can’t believe next weekend is already March. We’re doing okay on our grocery spending — a total of $268 for the month, so we’re averaging about $90/week. Not bad, considering I’ve been able to rebuild much of our stockpile (especially the freezer). M has been doing an okay job not drinking Red Bull and I’ve been doing an okay job going to the gym. I’ve been doing the Couch to 5K workout, not that I have any desire to actually run a 5k, but I like the variation in the workout and the challenge to make it through all of the running without stopping. Since we’re not doing our Culinary Challenge (Fried Chicken) until tonight, I don’t know what this coming week will be. I may have to have M pick early so I can do all of my grocery shopping at once.

Monday: Drunken Noodles
Tuesday: One Pot Wonder Tomato Basil Pasta*
Wednesday: Spice Rubbed Grilled Pork Chops
Thursday: Stir Fried Beef with Asparagus
Friday: Chicken TBD… (Whole Foods had a great sale yesterday so I stocked up on two 4-pound birds)
Saturday: Culinary Challenge Night
